Scalding Red Hot

Scalding Red Hot. 3.2017

The LandArtFarm landscape is signally of rocks, huge ridges and boulders, thousands of smaller pieces, dense and sharp, black and grey, strewn across the hilltop.

Likely ancient volcanic rock sprays. Barely weathered in millenniums.

In Scalding Red Hot, walkers returning along the Road to Nimbin see a minimalist reflection of that volcanic influence, glimpses of red hot rock in flow on the white-black of the land scald from water racing across rock and clay.
